Vicky Chin
Dr Vicky Chin is a Radiation Oncologist at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals, Sydney, Australia. Her clinical expertise includes the treatment of thoracic cancers. Her PhD, awarded in 2024 by the University of New South Wales, investigates the impact on the heart and substructures for patients who have received thoracic radiotherapy. She is the recipient of the Frank Ellis Medal 2023. Her current postdoctoral research work is part of a NHMRC Synergy Grant team looking to better understand cardiac responses to radiation, to improve treatments for both cancer and cardiac patients. She is a founding member and currently chairs the Asia Pacific collaborative group for Stereotactic Arrythmia Radioablation.
Pierre Qian
Pierre Qian is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Westmead Hospital and the University of Sydney, Australia. He leads a translational biomedical engineering team at Westmead Hospital innovating and developing novel cardiac ablation technology and techniques to advance the treatment of heart rhythm disorders, including basic and clinical research in the use of stereotactic radioablation for noninvasive ablation of cardiac arrhythmias.
